SYNOPSIS

"Wonder Woman Vs. Gargantua" - GRETCHEN CORBETT as ERIKA BELGARD "Wonder Woman Vs. Gargantua" - ROBERT LOGGIA as COL. HANS ACKLER "Wonder Woman Vs. Gargantua" - JOHN HILLERMAN as CONRAD STEIGLER

A Nazi-held section of Africa, May 1942. We find Wonder Woman being attacked by a gorilla. But in fact it's Erika Belgard [GRETCHEN CORBETT], the daughter of a famous Nazi professor, who trained the giant gorilla named Gargantua [MICKEY MORTON] to kill Wonder Woman [LYNDA CARTER].

September 1942 - 5 months later at Turner Circus, outside Washington D.C., Major Steve Trevor [LYLE WAGGONER] interrogates Conrad Steigler [JOHN HILLERMAN] a repented Nazi agent. Aware of this, Berlin orders to recapture him, and Erika plans to use Gargantua for that purpose.

The American government take Steigler to a security Hotel where he supposedly will be safe from the Nazis' hands. But that same night the gorilla is taken to the Hotel where Steigler is kept under strict security measures. Gargantua climbs the walls, delivers the guard unconscious and captures Steigler. After that, they take him to an old refinery that the Nazis use as their hideout. They plan to use Steigler to attract Wonder Woman's attention and deliver her in the hands of Gargantua.

Steve and Diana investigate and find out crude oil in a gorilla hair found at the Hotel. They realize that the old refinery is the Nazi's hideout, but they don't know that it's been a trap set by Erika and the Nazi agents with the purpose of leading Wonder Woman to the hands of the ape once again.

Wonder Woman leads to the refinery but once in there she must fight against Gargantua in spite of her will. Steve and the MP appear just on time and they find Wonder Woman taken by the gorilla. One of MPs shoot the animal in spite of Wonder Woman's warning. Gargantua is taken to Dr. Osmond's laboratory where he'll be assisted and re-programmed. Wonder Woman tells Steve and the Doctor that "At Paradise Island we live in peace with all animals... including those you call 'ferocious'".

Later that same day, Erika goes to Dr. Osmond's laboratory with the object of recapture Gargantua. But the animal has been reprogrammed and turns against her. The big Ape it's recaptured using sedatives and taken back to the hideout.

They are about to leave to Germany but Erika still has plans to capture Wonder Woman and for that purpose re-programs Gargantua, although the animal try to resist. Steve leaves to the warehouse where the Nazis keep Steigler, but forbids Diana to come along with him. Nevertheless Diana decides Wonder Woman must intervene.

At the warehouse Wonder Woman must face Gargantua once again, but she defeats him and Steve and the MP appear on scene. Steve wonders what happened to Gargantua. Wonder Woman tells him that Erika tried to reprogram him and he went berserk. Steve understands that Gargantua must have sensed that Wonder Woman wouldn't have hurt him. Wonder Woman says that "it's a little kindness and tenderness and love that transcends those barriers with animals... and with people". Steve concludes: "Wonder Woman, you're amazing".

Several nights later at Turner Circus. "I know you're safe here, but I just hate to see you locked up in a cage like this". Wonder Woman frees Gargantua from and takes him
