DESCRIPTION: First of the "CIRCUS OF THE STARS" specials, in a series of  19 almost annual shows which ran between January 1977 and December 1994 where movie and TV celebrities perform big-top circus acts. Ringmasters Jean-Pierre Aumont, George Hamilton, Bernardette Peters and Jack Cassidy introduce the acts. This is the first out of two of Lynda's appearances on the "CIRCUS OF THE STARS" specials. In this particular one, David Janssen throws daggers at her!

EPISODE SYNOPSIS: The acts include a performing seal, elephants, bears, ponies, doves and dogs -handled by Marty Allen, Valerie Perrine, David Doyle, Rue McClanahan, Mary Ann Mobley, Jean Stapleton and Deborah Raffin; magic feats by Edward Asner, Claudia Cardinale, Peter Fonda, Peter Marshall, Joey Heatherton and Bobby Van; trapeze and aerial routines featuring Janet Leigh, David Nelson, and French actresses Anny Duperey and Liliane Montevecchi; and clown sketches with Abe Vigoda, Rosey Grier, Pat Morita, Billy Barty and Jo Anne Worley. David Janssen throws daggers at Lynda Carter; Wayne Rogers levitates Karen Black; Gary Collins wrestles a tiger; and a group called the firemen of Paris performs synchronized acrobatics.

			TRIVIA:	[•] This is Lynda's first ever appearance on a "CIRCUS OF THE STARS" special, out of two appearances. Also is her first appearance performing a circus act.
				[•] This is the first and only time LYNDA CARTER and DAVID JANSSEN shared the screen together on a show. In this special he throws daggers at her.
				[•] Though Lynda and JOHN FORSYTHE do not appear together on a scene of the show, it's him being the host who presents her act. Next time they would be together in another show would be for "THE NIGHT OF THE 100 STARS".
				[•] GEORGE HAMILTON, ringmaster for this show, 18 years later went on to be the host of the syndicated talk show "THE GEORGE AND ALANA SHOW" where Lynda was one of the guests.
				[•] DAVID NELSON, MARTY ALLEN, MARISA BERENSON, VALERIE PERRINE, GARY COLLINS, PETER FONDA, ABE VIGODA, DEBORAH RAFFIN, and JACK KLUGMAN would all appear again with Lynda on the second special of the "CIRCUS OF THE STARS" .
				[•] ROBERT SHIELDS and LORENE YARNELL, of "SHIELDS AND YARNELL" fame, would later be guest-stars as Doug and Formicida on the episode "FORMICIDA" of "THE NEW ADVENTURES OF WONDER WOMAN" series.
				[•] CHARO went on to be a guest with Lynda on "THE HOLLYWOOD SQUARES" only three weeks later.
				[•] GEORGE HAMILTON, went on to be the host of the syndicated talk show "THE HOUR MAGAZINE" where Lynda was one of the guests.
				[•] BOBBY VANS went on to play Marty Burns on the episode "BEAUTY ON PARADE" of "THE NEW, ORIGINAL WONDER WOMAN" series.
				[•] DEBORAH RAFFIN went on to be the producer of the "FAMILY BLESSINGS" movie.
