Ever since the death of industrialist Harlow Gault, the new leadership of Gault Industries has been plagued by sabotage -as if someone was trying to ruin the corporation, drive down the stock, and then take over, assuming the role of chairman of the board. Since Gault Industries is a major government contractor, Diana Prince (LYNDA CARTER) and the IADC are poised to investigate the peculiar events. Gault President Brandon Stryker (FLOYD LEVINE) is not interested in helping Diana, so she and the IADC must solve the mystery alone.

At the elegant Gault Estate, mourners file by the late industrialist's casket, ignorant of the fact that Gault is actually watching them. In the library, preserved in a tank and wired with electrodes Gault's Brain (JOHN CARRADINE) functions outside the confines of the human body.

Turk (ERIK STERN), Gault's bodyguard, and Tara (CATHEE SHIRRIFF) listen as Gault orders Diana Prince's death. Tara, who served as Gault's assistant, now searches for a suitable body in which to implant Gault's brain. She finds Olympic Decathalon hopeful Morton Danzig (DAVID MASON DANIELS) and lure him to the estate telling him that she would like him to run their gym. Her offer of $1,000 per week is appealing to Danzig.

Turk, posing as a cab driver, picks up Diana after another of her unsuccessful visits to Gault Industries. The driver insists that he turn on the air conditioning. A dreadful gas knocks out Diana who Turk then places in a cargo container and dumps her into a lake. As the container drops to the bottom of the lake, Diana whirls into Wonder Woman and explodes out of the crate.

Back at IADC headquarters Steve Trevor (LYLE WAGGONER) and Diana run through IRAC's files but learn very little except the identity of Turk. Tara now prepares the estate for Morton Danzig. Dr. Crippin (PAUL MARK RICHMAN) arranges a battery of physical examinations. Danzig checks out in perfect health and Tara approves the operation. The operating room is now prepared for the operation that will immortalize Gault forever by implanting the mind of a seventy-year old man in the body of a 25 year old athlete. Morton is not so enthusiastic about his new position when he is approached by Dr. Crippin and a hypodermic needle. He tries to escape, but Gault, using telekinetic powers blocks his passage.

Diana, meanwhile, experiences her own troubles at the Gault home for when she visits she is nearly killed by an antique armor suit's ax blade crashing neatly into the chair in which she sat, narrowly missing her. Between information that both Steve and Diana have been able to gather, they become alarmed over Morton's safety. Though they are not certain as to what is actually about to happen, they are convinced that Morton is in danger at the Gault Estate.

Diana reaches the high walls surrounding the mansion and whirls into Wonder Woman She now heads for the house, while Morton lies unconscious on the operating table, his head shaved bald and blue graph lines-stenciled on his scalp. Dr. Crippin places a nasty-looking skull saw above the patient's head and turns it on. Gault continues to pressure the doctor into continuing the procedure despite the commotion that Wonder Woman creates as she approaches the house.

Wonder Woman enters the operating room but the brain insists that Dr. Crippin continue. The brain threatens Wonder Woman and hurtles furniture and equipment at her, but realizing that Wonder Woman is stronger than he, he moves the table toward the  door.

The brain threatens Wonder Woman and hurtles furniture and equipment at her, but realizing that Wonder Woman is stronger than he, he moves the table toward the door. The brain and its cohorts are almost out the door. Wonder Woman is torn between going after them and saving Morton. Suddenly the doors between her and the gym fling shut and her decision is made easier. She looks toward the control panel, takes off her tiara and hurtles it toward the button that controls the blades, stopping them just the tiniest fraction of an inch from Morton's skull. Outside, Tara, Dr. Crippin and Turk pack the brain into their van and roar off.
