"Oliver Wendell Watson
(Patrick Duffy) is a successful advertising
executive, with a loving wife, three terrific
children and a beautiful home in the suburbs. The
one fateful day, his wife Sarah makes a sobering
announcement. She is leaving home to pursue an
education at Harvard. Her promise to return home on
weekends is quickly broken, and Oliver is left to
carry on with his new life as father, mother and
single man. Unable to cope with the loss of their
mother, Oliver's children fall to pieces, blaming

Oliver suffering the loss of his own mother is
finding it harder and harder to cope. So he decides
to accept a promotion that will take him to Los
