LYNDA CARTER

She appeared on printed ads and TV commercials for Diet 7-Up with comedian Don Rickles.
She appeared on a Vic Tanny printed advertisement.
From 1980 to 1990 she was Maybelline's Beauty and Fashion Director and acted not only as spokesperson but also as a stunning model appearing on numerous printed ads and TV commercials.
Since 1992 Lynda has been Lens Express' spokesperson appearing on several printed ads and TV commercials. Lens Express, Inc., founded in 1986, is one of the leading direct mail contact lens replacement companies in the U.S. Lens Express, a subsidiary of Summit Technology, Inc. is headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Menderes Akdag, who was born in Turkey, is the President of the company and possesses an in-depth understanding of marketing. It was his initiative to launch Lens Express' highly visible campaign featuring Lynda Carter, whom he hired to be the company's national spokesperson.
She hosted "The Principal Secret" informercial in 1997.

After being crowned Miss Phoenix-World, she's been a guest of Mexican Government at the International Friendship Festival from October 19-28, 1972 in Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta and Mexico City.
She made an appearance as "Miss World-USA" at the 1972 Golf Tournament in San Diego, CA.
On 1973 Lynda made some appearances as the tournament queen of "Bob Hope Golf Classic".

Her father used to have a furniture business; her Mother  worked at Motorola; her sister Pamela was married to John Cole and they had a health-food company, she used to have her own television program at CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network); her brother Vincent was in the insurance business.
Allegedly Lynda had a small part in "Apocalypses Now". Regarding this movie there's a controversy for some sources like "Fanfare" magazine claim it was shoot and some other claim on the contrary. On the Internet Movie Database, on the Trivia section for that movie it reads: "A second sequence featuring the Playmates was filmed but cut. The patrol boat crew encounter the Playmates' helicopter which had run out of fuel. They swap some gasoline in exchange for a chance to sleep with the three girls. Lynda Carter was originally cast as one of the girls, but was replaced by Colleen Camp due to the unforeseen production delays."
Her dressing room was on Stage 19 at Warner Bros.'s lot, and she had an exclusive trailer that was the envy of many Hollywood stars of that time.
She was supposed to have a part in the film "The Shroud" which was supposed to be filmed in Spain and some other locations in Europe but never got filmed. 
She was supposed to record a second album called "Infinity" which never was released.
In 1979 she had a chocolate-brown Porsche 914 Targa.
She was supposed to star on the film "Rose And Violet", a dramatic-comedy western that never got made.
Lynda was trained by tennis trainer Pat Webber for one of the Miami tournaments.
Along with Lindsay Wagner and Linda Hamilton, Lynda Carter was considered for the role of Captain Janeway of Star Trek Voyager, a role that finally landed on Kate Mulgrew.
Bill and Hillary Clinton met Lynda Carter and Robert Altman in 1993 at the BCCI Kentucky Derby and Hillary Clinton considers them their friends.
Some of her favorite TV shows are "NYPD Blue," "The Practice" and "Judging Amy."
In 1976 she particpated of the "The Christmas Cavalcade of Stars" charity event.
In 1980- She was the chair-person for the Crippled Children's League.
